The George “Best” Costacos Cultural and Cancer Research Foundation HELLAS is honored to present the retrospective solo exhibition of the internationally recognized artist Nikos Floros at the Tsarytsino State Museum and Reserve in Moscow, Russia.
Nikos Floros is an artist of great creativity, originality and vision and his works have enthralled viewers wherever they have been presented around the world. Mr. Floros’ medium are materials from our everyday lives which he transforms into sculptures of great beauty and originality. Mr. Floros is dedicating this and all of his exhibitions to his dear friend and mentor, the late George “Best” Costacos, who encouraged and supported Nikos Floros as a young artist and who was never absent from any of Mr. Floros’ exhibitions.
The George “Best Costacos Cultural and Cancer Research Foundation was founded in memory of the late singer, actor and writer, George Costacos who died of a malignant brain tumor at the young age of 44. The Foundation was founded in 2008 to continue his spirit and life’s work. The mission of the Foundation is two-fold – to support research to help find a cure for glioblastoma brain tumors and to organize events and activities to foster and promote young artists. It is with great pleasure and heartfelt support that we present this exhibition of the work of such a talented artist as Nikos Floros.
