A message of optimism and hope for a better future was conveyed by a the major event held at the old City Hall of Vienna, whereby two international humanitarian institutions, from Greece and Austria, joining forces, with offering to mankind as their primary objective, awarded renowned figures from Greece with medals and honors.

A golden medal of Humanitarian Merit of the Institution was awarded to actress and author of children’s novels, Mari Kyriakou, on her humanitarian work, through her known television broadcast, while two distinguished Greek artists abroad, Ioannis Vlazakis and Nikos Floros, were honored with the golden medal of Arts and Sciences.
